Hey Scots! Are you interested in auditioning for High School Musical? Come to movie night, this Friday, in the WAH! The Drama department will be showing...you guessed it...HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL! Come hang out, sing along, and meet other people interested in auditioning! The event will be from 3:30-5:30pm! See you there!

News from the Café:  Why Snack when you can Dine? Beginning Monday Dec. 3rd the cafeteria will serve Dinner from 3:20-4:50 then serve the After School Snack from 5:45-6:15 on Monday through Thursday afternoons; on Friday Snack will be served from 3:20-3:50. Will you please put it in from Nov.26th through  Dec. 21st.

Formal permission slips will be available next week and bids will go on sale when we return from Winter break.  You MUST, I repeat, you MUST have all debt cleared and a current HHS ID card.  Be sure to return all library books and athletic gear!  Avoid the lines and get things taken care of early!

Bakersfield College will be on campus next week.  If you would like to attend the workshop go to the career center to sign up.

Scholarships available for Juniors. Dream Builder/Ford Dimension-Minimum GPA 3.8 freshman-junior year.  (No Exceptions.) Must have extracurricular activities.  Show leadership qualities, responsibility, communication skills, personality, grooming, community and school involvement, scholastic achievement and commitment.  See Mr. Ramirez for full details.

CLUB NEWS

• Need help getting into the Holiday spirit of giving?  Want to make someones’s Holiday bright? The Kindness Club is collecting food for Highland families in need this Christmas.  Please bring what you can to your third period classes this week, and we will make food baskets with the items for Highland families for Christmas. All food will go directly to families of HHS students.  Even one item makes a big difference!  Go Scots!

• Hello Gorgeous! Today’s Cosmetics Club meeting is only for officers, we will be planning the next of couple club meetings. Can Kimberly Chavez, Priscilla Quinonez, Alexis Morales, and Jessica Jimenez please report to room 14 E during lunch.  Our next club meeting will continue next Tuesday, our focus will be Oily Skin. Love you all!

• The Red Cross Club is having a new and gently used toy, book, and jacket drive.  Please donate to your 3rd period class.  The winning period will receive doughnuts.
