Congratulations Lily Bowen and Isabel Villalta for being selected to play on the one of the ALL-STAR volleyball teams for the entire district. These 2 Lady Scots will represent Highland in the game TONIGHT at 6pm, then compete in a skills challenge in between games. Come out to Centennial High School at 6pm to cheer them on and to show your Pride in the Plaid at the 2018 All-Star Volleyball Game.
"Hey Scots! Highland's fall play, 'Almost Maine', opens this thursday at 7pm in the WAH! Presale tickets end today and will be $8 until the end of the school day! If you saw the award-winning musical last year, you don't want to miss this play! It plays Thursday and Friday at 7pm, and on Saturday at 2pm and 7pm! Come and support your actor friends! You can purchase your tickets in the Finance Office! We will see you there!"
Interested in learning how to fly a plane or have a knack for engines and want to learn more? California Aeronautical University will be on campus today come to the career center to get signed up.
Bakersfield College will be on campus next week. If you would like to attend the workshop go to the career center to sign up.
News from the cafeteria: “Why Snack when you can Dine? Beginning Monday Dec. 3rd the cafeteria will serve Dinner from 3:20-4:50 then serve the After School Snack from 5:45-6:15 on Monday through Thursday afternoons;
- Friday Snack will be served from 3:20-3:50.

Please bring what you can to your third period classes this week, and we will make food baskets with the items for Highland families for Christmas. All food will go directly to families of HHS students. Even one item makes a big difference! Go Scots!
