Announcements: Good Morning Scots! It is all about “A”ttitude. Our attitude can really make or break our relationships and it can hold us back from progressing! So, chose a positive attitude always!

A BIG shout out to the Highland students who went to the volleyball game at East last night. Your support was AWESOME and appreciated!!!

Volleyball’s next home game is Tuesday against league leading Mira Monte. 

Any girls interested in playing basketball this year there is practice today at 330 and Thursday at 330 in the gym.   

If you need any info regarding Winter Sports, stop by the Athletic dept and Ms. Hernandez will get you started and point you in the right direction.

” Do you like to sing and dance, but don’t think you can sing? Well, FFA is putting on a school-wide Lip Sync Battle on October 23rd from 5:00pm to 7:30pm! Form groups or go solo, and audition to be a part of the lip sync battle. Auditions will be held on October 8th at lunch and after school in Mr. Thompson’s room 14B. Make sure to pick school-friendly songs and practice, practice, practice! FFA challenges ASB, faculty, sports groups, theatre, and YOU!””

Scots En Accion's purpose is to enrich Hispanic culture and to provide opportunities to speak Spanish and learn more about the Hispanic world. Everyone is welcome to join! For more information you may contact Ms. Alatorre, Mr. Sanchez, or Mr. Juarez. Club Scots En Accion (Scots in action) will meet every Thursday during lunch in room 14C. See you there!

Fellowship of Christian Athletes Update.  Both of our Huddle Groups have moved their meeting day to Wednesdays.  Boys will still meet in room 7H with Mr. Matney and the Girls will meet in room 5K with Ms. Gibson.  Grab your lunch and stop in.
