Attention All Scots!!! Drum roll please… We said it was going to be an exciting night as our Lady Scots headed to Foothill and it was! In last night’s game against Foothill, all 3 teams beat the Trojans. A few of your own, Jazmyn Kizzar, Isabel Villalta and AnnMeree Gutierrez lead the team to another league victory. Come cheer us on this Thursday in the gym. Frosh/Soph starts at 4pm, JV at 5pm and Varsity starts at 6:15, and will be throwing free t-shirts into the crowd. Don’t miss out.

Way to go Lady Scots!!! #PLAIDUP

Tomorrow we’ll be visiting The Flamingo for Homecoming week!  Dress like you’re going to the beach, on vacation in Florida or even channel your inner pink flamingo!!  At lunch tomorrow we will be having our first food sale day of the year!!

Students – Be sure to come out Thursday for our food sale day at lunch!  Come get elote, chicken strips, pizza, burgers, shaved ice and much, much more!

Congratulations to the Homecoming Court Nominees! The nominees are for Queen: Mckall Henrie, Jaysa Kelly, Margaret Legaretta and Maritza Acosta-Tacket and the nominees for King are: Matthew Bayaca, Roy Valdez, Ryan Miller, and Nathan Jackson.  Be sure to come out and vote on Wednesday for who will be Homecoming King and Queen. The winner will be announced at Friday’s Homecoming game!

Students – Our Homecoming rally is this Friday!!!  Please be sure to only attend your assigned rally. Attending both rallies will result in you not being able to attend the next rally – don’t let that be you!! Show PRIDE in Highland and attend the correct rally!

Scots! Buy your 2018 Homecoming shirt in the Finance Office before school, lunch and after school. Shirts are only $15!  Quantities are limited,  so get one before they’re gone!

Attention Scots!  Tickets for this week’s Homecoming game are on sale now in the finance office! Stay out of the long lines Friday night and get your tickets now! Tickets will be on sale in the finance office until Friday at lunch

The Athletic Office is still looking for student volunteers for the Varsity Football game Friday night. If you are in need of community service, see Ms. Hernandez and sign up!

Did you know that the book Of Mice and Men was banned from many school and public libraries because it had “obscene and blasphemous language,” “sexual overtones,” and profanity! And our freshmen read it every year!!! Come to the library to check out our selection of this and other banned books during BANNED BOOKS WEEK!

News from the Career Center: Fresno Pacific University will be on campus this Thursday and Scholarship workshop will be held October 18th. Please stop by and sign up to be a part of either dates.

National School Lunch Week is being celebrated in the cafeteria from Oct.15th-19th! The theme this year is “School Lunch, Lots 2 Love”. Visit the cafeteria and enjoy our new menu selections and be 1 of the 30 million students participating in school lunch daily across
