General ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Winter formal permission slips are now available in the Athletic Office. Formal tickets will go on sale when we get back from break.  You must have ALL debts cleared and an HHS ID to purchase your bids.  Please plan accordingly.

Students and Staff – Friday is our annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Day! Let’s see which 3rd period wins this year and which department can beat the reigning Special Ed staff! Bring it!

Auditions for Highland’s spring musical will be held this week on Thursday and Friday in the WAH. This year, we will be performing GODSPELL! Both days of auditions are mandatory to be in the play, but if you cannot make the auditions, see Mr. Thompson in 14-F during lunch on Thursday to find out your options! This year’s musical is sure to be a hit, so don’t miss out! See you there!

All freshmen students are invited to Link Crew’s annual freshmen study session on 12/19/17 from 3:30-5:30 in the cafeteria.   Come study for your very important finals.  Finals are worth 10-20% for your semester grade, so they are very important; you need to study for these!!!

  • Link Crew – there is a mandatory meeting on Thursday, 12/14/17 in Rm 4PB at lunch.  We will discuss the upcoming freshmen study session next week

Club News

  • The Red Cross Club is having a toy drive. We are collecting new and slightly used toys, books and stuffed animals. We will be collecting them on December 15th and the class who donated the most will win donuts. 

  • Kindness club meets every Tuesday at lunch in room 5H with Mrs. Mawhirter, grab some lunch and bring your shine.

  • Hey, AdvoCats don’t forget there’s a meeting this Wednesday in 4L. See you there!
