9th Grade Class Council Election results are in!! Drum roll please . . . . Publicity  Chairperson is Grace Knaggs, Treasurer is Caitlyn Tran, Secretary is Jayden Canales, Vice President is Gabby Acosta-Tackett, and President is Joachim Ma. Congratulations to our newly elected council and a big shout out to everyone who ran and came out to vote!

Seniors: Have you taken your senior yearbook picture already? Have you picked up and filled out your cap and gown order form? If you’re answer is NO- then please be sure to get these taken care of as soon as possible!!!  Herff Jones will be on campus during lunch taking orders on September 12th!

The Red Cross will be having a coin drive for the victims of hurricane Harvey. Cans will be placed in classrooms until September 8th. All donations will be appreciated, Thank you.

Attention students: Renegade football is back! All high school students get into ANY SPORTING EVENT at BC for $1 with school ID.

Welcome Back SCOTS!  The Career Center is in Room 2A and is your one-stop shop for all things college, financial aid and scholarships!  Stop by and meet our new Cal-SOAP Rep Alex who will be on campus Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday from 8-3.

Seniors – If you did not take your senior yearbook picture with your Govt/Econ class on Tuesday or Wednesday, you must call Randall Photography to schedule an appointment if you want to be in the yearbook!  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Barber-Smith in the ASB room.

Attention juniors, sophomore and freshmen. It’s time to take the PSAT ( the Practice SAT). The cost is $16. You can purchase the test at the finance office beginning Monday, August 28. The final day to pay for the test is Friday, September 22. The test will be given on Wednesday, October 11. Juniors, please see your counselor prior to paying for the test.

Students: If you owe textbooks from last year, TURN THEM IN ASAP! We need them. Thanks!  

Hear ye, hear ye ….. Court is almost in session.  That’s right – it’s time for the 2017 – 2018 Mock Trial season to begin.  Stop by room 4G to fill out an intent to participate form or to find out more about the program.  The case is being released on September 7th so it’s time to get down to business.  If you like acting and arguing, Mock Trial is the place to be.
