- Seniors! The senior panoramic picture is THIS Friday during 2ndperiod in the gym! Please make sure you are at school that day! You will go to your 2nd period class and your teachers will take you down after attendance. See you then!
- Scots! Did you miss picture day last month? Don't worry! We've got you covered! Picture re-take day is November 5thand you will receive a call slip to go take your picture. - This Friday October 24th is our Breast Cancer Awareness game against Frontier! Join us in honoring those affected by breast cancer, watching Red Cross participants in “Cut for the Cure” as well as our little Scots night! JV starts at 5pm and Varsity at 7:30pm! We hope to see you there!
- This week is our Think Pink Week! Join us at lunch to participate in Breast Cancer Awareness Activities, MONDAY: write an encouraging letter to a cancer patient, TUESDAY: decorate the walkways with pink chalk for our sidewalk takeover! WEDNESDAY: on Wednesday’s we wear pink! Bring a banana and get some free ice cream! THURSDAY: decorate a clothing pin with encouraging words to give to someone! FRIDAY: pink bandanna tug-a-war! For the chance to win some gear for this week’s game! ALL WEEK: write a note for a cancer patient, leave it in the notes box posted at lunch!
Club News:
- Hey Scots! Are you interested in game creating, coding, or website design? If you enjoy video games and technology, come to room 11C to join the coding club on October 28th during lunch.
- Art Club meeting this Thursday at lunch in 8A! We’ll be finalizing details for our Parent Pumpkin Painting and Carving Night—see you there!
- This past weekend, Highland High’s Art Club participated in the Via Arte Street Painting Festival. Six dedicated Art Club members worked tirelessly from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM on an intricate chalk design, and their hard work paid off! Our piece won Best Overall High School for the third year in a row. Congratulations to our amazing artists for continuing Highland’s winning tradition!
