- Scots! Did you know it's Kindness month? On Wednesday October 22nd, we want to paint the campus BLUE! Blue signifies standing for kindness, inclusion, and respect. Bullying and hate have no place at Highland!💙
- Seniors! The senior panoramic picture is THIS Friday during 2ndperiod in the gym! Please make sure you are at school that day! You will go to your 2nd period class and your teachers will take you down after attendance. See you then!
- Scots! Did you miss picture day last month? Don't worry! We've got you covered! Picture re-take day is November 5thand you will receive a call slip to go take your picture. If you want to purchase pictures, order forms are available in the Activities Office or you can order at mylifetouch.com with code: EVTJDGMKM.
- This Friday October 24th is our Breast Cancer Awareness game against Frontier! Join us in honoring those affected by breast cancer, watching Red Cross participants in “Cut for the Cure” as well as our little Scots night! JV starts at 5pm and Varsity at 7:30pm! We hope to see you there!
- This week is our Think Pink Week! Join us at lunch to participate in Breast Cancer Awareness Activities, MONDAY: write an encouraging letter to a cancer patient, TUESDAY: decorate the walkways with pink chalk for our sidewalk takeover! WEDNESDAY: on Wednesday’s we wear pink! Bring a banana and get some free ice cream! THURSDAY: decorate a clothing pin with encouraging words to give to someone! FRIDAY: pink bandanna tug-a-war! For the chance to win some gear for this week’s game! ALL WEEK: write a note for a cancer patient, leave it in the notes box posted at lunch!
- Scots! There is an amazing opportunity for you to receive some community service hours on Saturday October 25th from 3-8pm. If you'd like more information, see Angel Rodriguez in the Front Office. Be sure to check in at the front desk first.
- Highland students take a School Climate survey twice a year that gives us data on how students feel about a variety of topics related to school. Teachers, please share the link or QR code for the School Climate Survey with students now and give them time to complete it today. Students, please take this survey seriously and read each question carefully. Select the option that fits you best. Once you finish the survey, show your teacher the finish screen so your name can be checked off on the roll sheet. Thank you for taking the time to help us collect this important data!
