Announcements:

• This Friday October 24th is our Breast Cancer Awareness game against Frontier! Join us in honoring those affected by breast cancer, watching Red Cross participants in “Cut for the Cure” as well as our little Scots night! JV starts at 5pm and Varsity at 7:30pm! We hope to see you there! 

• This week is our Think Pink Week! Join us at lunch to participate in Breast Cancer Awareness Activities, MONDAY: write an encouraging letter to a cancer patient, TUESDAY: decorate the walkways with pink chalk for our sidewalk takeover! WEDNESDAY: on Wednesday’s we wear pink! Bring a banana and get some free ice cream! THURSDAY: decorate a clothing pin with encouraging words to give to someone! FRIDAY: pink bandanna tug-a-war! For the chance to win some gear for this week’s game! ALL WEEK: write a note for a cancer patient, leave it in the notes box posted at lunch! 

• Scots! There is an amazing opportunity for you to receive some community service hours on Saturday October 25th from 3-8pm. If you'd like more information, see Angel Rodriguez in the Front Office. Be sure to check in at the front desk first. 

• SAT students - You should have received your instructions for the SAT on Tuesday.  There is a morning session and an afternoon session - be sure you look to see which one you are.  Also, if you have some time, grab a school Chromebook and do the digital readiness portion of the test using the codes you were given.  Be sure to bring your ID to the test.  If you have any questions, stop by room 4G to ask.

• AP students - have you signed up for your test yet?  The deadline is drawing near!  After October 24^ththe price goes up by $40 per test.  Get your payment in and avoid the price hike.  You can make the payment online or in person at the finance office.  PLAID up and move this task from your "to do" list to your "ta done" list!

Club News:

• Attention all softball players. Softball season is just around the corner. Please stop by classroom 7K and scan the QR code to fill out the form. In addition, remember to fill out sports net and have a physical uploaded to your account to be able to participate

• Woof woof! Are you interested in helping dogs and cats in kern county? Join Paws for a Cause for their meeting next Tuesday 10/21in room 16C to learn how!

• Hey Scots, the new Club Highland Threads will be meeting this Thursday 10/23 in room 3H. If you like thrifting, if you like fashion, come to the meeting!
