Announcements:

• Seniors!  Jostens will be on campus today by the Finance Office taking cap and gown orders.  Cap and gowns are only $21.50 and they take cash, check or card.  You can also order online at Jostens.com. 

• Freshmen! Did you order a freshmen bundle last spring? Be sure to come to the Activities Office before school, lunch or after school to pick up your Highland tumbler!  Once you have your tumbler, stop by the Student Store at lunch this Thursday 9/4to get your tumbler filled with a slushie for FREE!  Tumbler must be clean to get filled!

• JUNIORS - Sign-ups for the PSAT are now available.  Get a jump on your college career and see if you qualify for the National Merit Scholarship by taking the PSAT.  It will also help you know where to focus before taking the SAT.  Cost is $18 and can be paid in the finance office.  Free exams are available if you qualify - see Mrs. Yubeta in the Career Center (room 2A) for application information.  Even though the test will be administered on October 16th, sign-ups close on Wednesday, September 25th.  So don't delay and get yourself signed up today!  See your counselor with any questions.

• SENIORS - Sign-ups for the SAT School Day exam have opened!  You don't have to take it on a Saturday - you can take it during school on October 21st.   The price is $60 due to the finance office by Wednesday, September 24th but free exams are available if qualified - see Mrs. Yubeta in the Career Center in room 2A.   See your counselor with any questions.

Club News:

• Attention Scots!! Today is Soak-A-Senior at lunch near the art building. There are 3 different sizes you can pay for including a LARGE BUCKET to soak your favorite seniors! If you would like to see the full list of seniors participating, please check out our Instagram @hhscotslinkcrew. Hope to see you all there! Soak a freshman will be later in the year too!

• Hey Scots! Auditions for Mean Girls continue TODAY after school! Today we start the singing audition! Head over to the WAH after school! We will begin promptly at 4pm! You won't be required to stay the whole time. Tomorrow is the acting audition! Hope to see you there! For more information, see Mr. Thompson in room 8C!

• Good morning, Senior Scots!  Northern Arizona University will be on campus next Monday during 2^ndperiod in the College and Career Center.  They will discuss the school and will help get you started on the application process.  If you are interested, please go to your senior Canvas course!

• Attention Scots! If you are interested in joining the Highland Girls Soccer Program this upcoming season, please join us for our informational meeting on Wednesday, September 3, during lunch in room 4I. Hope to see you there!
