Announcements:
- Hi Scots! Just a friendly reminder, this THURSDAY 8/28 we have our first home Freshman football game and Link Crew freshman tailgate. Where we’ll have free games, face paint, and sno-cones for ALL freshmen who attend. Freshmen also get a free meal! Don’t forget to bring your ID’s Scots, to get in for free.
- Scots! If you want to get into this week's football games for free, be sure to pick up your school ID from the Career Center in Room - 2A before or after school!
- Freshmen! If you bought the Freshmen Bundle at Scots Preview Night last spring, stop by the Activities Office to pick up your Highland tumbler! The bundle included your PE uniform, yearbook and tumbler. Stay tuned for opportunities to use your tumbler on campus!
- Freshmen! If you are interested in running for 9thgrade class council, applications are due this Wednesday by 4:00pm! Applications can be picked up and turned into the Activities Office next to the girl’s restroom in the 3 building!

- "Chess, chess, chess, chess! Chess club is having a meeting this Thursday, August 28, during lunch in room 5C to elect officers, talk about upcoming Chess club events, and to get the year started! If you are new to chess, an expert, or just want to come out to socialize, then Chess club is for you! Everyone is welcome."
- Welcome back to another school year lads! Teen Deaf Club (TDC) is excited to elect new Hey Scots! Do you have the secret talents of singing and dancing? Have you always wanted to try performing, but have been too embarrassed or afraid that people might not think its cool? Are you interested in auditioning for Mean Girls? Never fear! There is still time to join us after school for our Mean Girls workshops! You will have the chance to work with the production choreographer and vocal director to practice your skills for your audition! For more information, stop by and see Mr. Thompson in room 8C!
