Announcements:
- Seniors! If you still need the graduation contract, please stop by the Activities Office. Once signed, you may drop it off at the front office with Ms. Hernandez
- Athletic Equipment Return- Before school please return your athletic equipment and get your senior sign-out cards signed during lunch with Mr. Finch now in the front office or with Mr. Knight by the gym, or up to one hour after school with Mr. Knight.
- We still have several caps and gowns that have NOT been picked up and we received a new shipment yesterday. Please be sure to pick yours up before graduation! You may come by before school, during lunch and after school - NOT during class time.
- Attention Seniors! Senior Sunset and Breakfast tickets are now on sale. They are $13.00 individually or get both in a bundle for $20.00. Place your order at the finance office. May 23 is the last day to purchase
- If you bought a yearbook, they will be available for pick up after school, today, in the cafeteria. If you cannot pick up your yearbook after school on Wednesday 5/21, you can pick them up in room 3E beginning Friday 5/23.
- Seniors! If you are going to Grad Night, you must report to the gym by 4:30pm for a security check before we board the buses. NO open water bottles or filled water tumblers (i.e. Stanleys). You may only bring a small purse or drawstring bag - NO backpacks or duffle bags are permitted. Highland gear or Clothing with profanity, drugs or drug use (i.e. Cookies), etc. are also not allowed. It will get very cold at night, so please be sure to bring something warm! Any students in violation of the dress code or found in possession of drug paraphernalia by the drug dogs or the Sheriff department will NOT be allowed into the park.
- Seniors! We have a limited number of Class of 2025 yard signs available for purchase for $25! Please pay in the Finance Office. Signs will be available until we sell out!
- The library has free books! Bring a bag and go shopping for some summer reading.

We'll be sharing essential information regarding summer practices that you won't want to miss.
- The last chess club meeting will be held today after school in room 5C. We'll be having a celebration, discussing next year's events, and voting for officers for next school year. It's never too late to join, play, and learn.
- Hey Scots! Have you wanted to try performing on stage but haven't had the time or chance to? This summer, Highland's theatre program is hosting a production during its summer school session! Highland, in collaboration with Frontier High School, is putting on the rock musical ROCK OF AGES! This Broadway hit features tons of familiar 80s songs, including Don't Stop Believin'! If you are in need of some arts credits or just want to have a good time this summer performing in a low stakes environment, stop by room 8C and talk to Mr. Thompson or pop in to see your counselor to sign up! This is open to all students in the Kern High School District, so grab your friends and let's rock!
