Announcements:
- The AP Testing season is almost upon us! If you are taking an AP exam this year, be sure to look at the testing room assignments that have been posted in your classrooms. You are responsible for being in the correct room at the correct time with your student ID card. If your test is scheduled at 8 am, be sure to show up at 7:45. If you have a test scheduled for 12:00, you may leave class at 11:15 to go eat lunch and then report to your testing room. If you have any questions, come and talk to Mrs. Procell in room 4G. You got this! Go Scots!
- Students, did you miss the BC deadline? Or need to apply still, or have not registered for BC courses yet? Bakersfield College will be offering an express enrollment event that will help you complete all necessary steps in one day happening on May 6th from 8AM-12PM in Room 2A. Bakersfield College will assist with applying, updating or activating accounts, if you have not already, or speak with an advisor directly and register for Spring/Fall 2025 courses!
- Seniors! If you need to get your regalia or cap decoration approved by the Dean’s office, please email a copy to Mrs. Verde no later than May 21st. Be sure to include your name and UID number in the email. The Dean’s Office will not be accepting any request after May 21st.
- Students - Today is the LAST day to buy your prom bids. They are $65 with an ASB sticker and $70 without. You can purchase your bids at lunch and after school. The finance office closes PROMPTLY at 410pm. If you are bringing a non-Highland guest be sure to stop by the dean's office to pick up a guest permission form. If you have any questions, please see Ms. De Lateur in room 5B.
Club News:
- Scots! Become part of our award-winning color guard or drumline. Workshop/auditions are May 12, 13, and 14 from 5:30 to 8:30 in the band room. No experience necessary, bring plenty of water, and wear all black attire for movement and dance.
