Announcements:

• Scots!  Prom royalty nominations are now open!  Please nominate juniors and seniors for prom royalty using the following QR code or link.  Winners must be present to win and will be announced at the prom!  Only students may vote and voting closes at 4:00pm. • Students - Prom bids are now on sale. They are $65 with an ASB sticker and $70 without. You can purchase your bids in the morning, at lunch and after school. The finance office closes PROMPTLY at 410pm.  The last day to purchase your prom bids is Thursday May 1st.  If you are bringing a non-Highland guest be sure to stop by the dean's office to pick up a guest permission form.  If you have any questions, please see Ms. DeLateur in room 5B.

• Congratulations to Selina Aguilar for earning GOLD at the SkillsUSA state competition in the Arts and Communication Cluster. She moves on to the nationals in Atlanta, Georgia in June!

• Seniors - Cap and gowns will be distributed next Monday during lunch out by the Finance Office.  If you are absent, they will be available for pick up with an ID in the Activities Office.

• Future Leaders! If you are running for class council, applications are due this Thursday by 4:00pm in the Activities Office. Be sure to pick up an application if you have not already done so.

• Seniors - We will be having our annual senior assembly this Friday during 2nd and 3rd periods to go over graduation and end of year information. A Life Interrupted will also be here to talk about safe driving.  See you then!

• Attention all seniors: Please sign up with Mrs. Hernandez in the administration office if you’re interested in auditioning as a third speaker for graduation. You will be given the speech parameters when you sign up. The deadline to sign up is Tuesday, April 29th, by 4pm.  Auditions will be held on Wednesday, April 30^th at 4pm in the WAH.

Club News:

• The world premiere of the new film made by the advanced video production class is happening this Friday at 4:30pm and 6pm at the WAH. The film is called Highland's Hidden Treasure! $10 for all ages at the door! 

• Attention all Sophomores and Juniors!! Link Leader applications to join Link Crew for next year are due THIS FRIDAY. Please see Mr. Valdez in 14D or scan the QR code. ALL students, including returners, must reapply. Thank you!
