- Did you know that Women's History month began as a local week-long celebration in Santa Rosa, Ca in 1978? By 1986, 14 states had already declared March as Women's History Month, and it wasn't until 1987 that Congress passed a law designating March as Women's History Month.
- Not only is March Women's History month, but it is also Irish-American Heritage Month. More than 31 million Americans have Irish ancestry, making it one of the most significant heritages in the us. May the road reach up to you and the wind always be at your back this month!
- Good morning, Scots! Do you have a hidden talent you've been waiting to share? Well, now’s your chance! The next rally is just around the corner, and we want YOU to showcase your awesome skills! Start practicing your talents – whether it’s singing, dancing, comedy, magic tricks, or anything that blows our minds! A sign-up sheet is NOW on the athletics office door for auditions but hurry fast the deadline to sign up is this Tuesday March 18th. So, get ready to shine! Let’s see what you've got, Scots!
- Current Sophomores and Juniors Journalism B1: students will learn about TV journalism, Public Relations, Advertising, ethics in media, and how to write a broadcast script among other assignments. It is a four-week course this summer. Please see Ms. Barrick for any questions. Students must either email Ms. Barrick or stop by her office to sign up, and we will host a workshop to enroll students on Friday, March 28th at the beginning of 6th period in room 2A
- Freshman! Paint night has been moved to Monday 3/24 due to weather. Bring a friend and we hope to see you there! Again, our FREE paint night has been moved to Monday, March 24.
- Powder Puff Permission slips are available in room 7J. Turn in your permission slip and receipt to Mr. Gutierrez in 7J by THIS Friday at lunch. See Mr. Gutierrez with any questions.

- Looking for a fun volunteering opportunity? Sign up for JJ’s Legacy 4th Annual Got the Dot Walkathon! It’s a Family friendly event with lots of activities and food vendors. The walkathon is March 22nd from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at CSUB Alumni Park. Register by Friday March 14th to get a free T-Shirt.
