Announcements:

• Seniors! Just a reminder that Grad Night tickets are currently on sale in the Finance Office!  You must turn in your permission slip to the Finance Office in order to buy your ticket.  Permission slips are available in the Activities/Athletics Office. See Ms. Barber-Smith with any questions.

• It's Counselor Appreciation Week!! Have you thanked your counselor lately? Counselors- thank you for all you do for our students!

• Scots! Due to the recent fires, Palisades High School has reached out and is asking for help with school supplies and classroom supplies. We will have donation boxes in the Parent Center and the Athletics/Activities Office.  Please donate what you can to help these students out!

• Black history month fact: Did you know Black men in Pittsburgh were the first paramedics in the US? The Freedom House Ambulance Service, staffed by Black paramedics in Pittsburgh, was the first ambulance service to offer emergency medical treatment in the U.S. During its first year of operation, the Freedom House Ambulance Service responded to nearly 5,800 calls and transported more than 4,600 patients, and its paramedics saved 200 lives.

Club News:

• Do you have someone special in your life? If so, send them a Valentines gram! Band will be selling Valentine’s grams at lunch every day until February 12th. Gram packages range from $2-$15 with options to write a special message and add a gift for your significant other or your friends, and valentines will be sent out on Valentines Day during 2nd period. Pre-orders are cash only. Stop by the table outside the Band room 8D to order your valentine gram!
