Announcements:

 

  • Baby It's Cold Out Outside! Be sure to dress up tomorrow in your winter and ski gear and your puffer jackets and vests!  Thanks to everyone who wore their pjs and cozy sleep wear today!

 

  • AP STUDENTS - Don't forget - late payments for AP exams are still being accepted in the finance office until Feb.20th!

 

  • Seniors!  Jostens will be on campus one last time on Tuesday, January 28thtaking cap and gown orders at lunch outside of the Finance Office.  Please be sure to come by to place your order.   You can also order on-line at jostens.com.  Prices go up in February, so please don't delay!

 

  • Are you a senior and want to go to Grad Night this May! Tickets go on sale Monday, January 27th.  This year Grad Night is at 6 Flags Magic Mountain and are $135.   You must have a signed permission slip to purchase a ticket at the Finance Office and your school ID.  Permission slips are available in the Activities/Athletics Office.

 

  • JUNIORS - Have you decided to take the SAT in March?  Then get your payment into the finance office or go talk to Ms. Yubeta in the Career Center if you qualify for a free test.  Your name must be on the list to get the test ordered.  Either way, you only have until January 31st to sign up - don't delay!

 

  • Students, if you received a letter that you qualify for the State Seal of Biliteracy, and you missed our first testing date, you have two more options to take the test. Please stop by the Title 1/ELD Office located in building 4 to sign up to take the test. If you have questions about whether or not you qualify, please come by, and we can check for you. This is a huge honor, and we want to make sure that you have the chance to earn this gold seal for your diploma!  Our next on campus testing date is Thursday, January 30, during periods 1-3. You also have an opportunity to test on Saturday, February 8 in the Highland cafeteria, 8-12pm. Stop by Title 1/ELD if you have questions.

 

Club News:

 

  • Are you interested in writing stories, novels, songs, or poems? If you do, then you should join the Creative Writing Club! We will be having weekly meetings at lunch on Wednesdays in room 3B, stop by today at lunch!
