  • Scots! If you have one full day absence (excused, unexcused or cut) and want to have it cleared, please see Chapa in 3B, Moore in 4E, De Lateur in 5B, Mayo in 8A or Mayo in 7H for more information about Saturday school.

 

  • The Highland's Film Festival is this Friday after school at 5 PM in the WAH! Get your tickets early—pre-sale is happening today at lunch! Come out and show your support! Thank you and have a great day! 

 

  • Scots!  Formal season will be here soon! Please make sure you have your debts paid and a current ID card! You will need to have both to purchase your tickets in January!

 

  • Seniors! If you did not purchase your cap and gowns last week, please be sure to do so at Jostens.com.  If you are borrowing a cap and gown, the deadline is fast approaching. Don't delay!

 

Club News:

 

  • Project BEST students, there will be a meeting today at lunch in room 3D. Lunch will be provided, so please go to room 3D as soon as the bell rings for the end of 3rd

 

  • Hey Scots! It's showtime! Auditions for Highland's spring musical, Beetlejuice, are happening next week after school! Auditions will take place Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The dance audition is Tuesday, the singing audition is Wednesday, and acting audition is Thursday!

 

Please come every day! We are hoping for a huge turnout, so come on down to the WAH and try something fun and new! Stop by Mr. Thompson's room in 8C to get an information form that gives you access to the audition songs and other information you will need for auditions! See you then

 

  • Good morning, Scots! It’s time for AVID’s College of the Week. This Week our school is California State University, Fresno. Fact 1: Fresno State has a huge University Farm that is a little over 1,000 acres! The whole farm is student run, employing about 120 students. Fact 2: They offer D1 athletics and have 25 Olympian alums. Fact 3: Their motto is “Receive the light that you may give it forth”.
