Announcements:

 

  • Scots! Today is our first food sale of the year! We have things from burgers, fries, tacos, baked potatoes, lemonade, acai bowls just to name a few!  Vendors will be set up behind the WAH by the gym.  See you then!

 

  • Today, students who purchased a "fast pass" for the food sale should be let out of their 3rd period class about 10 minutes before the bell rings. Students MUSTshow you their PLAID token (see below), to get out of class. Students will not be allowed early into the food sale without their pass and please do not release your other students early.

 

  • Scots! Tomorrow is our Homecoming rally be sure to rock your favorite Highland gear or colors!

 

  • Students! Are you interested in learning more about University of San Diego? Club News:

 

  • Did you know Puebla Mexico is characterized by its colorful, Talavera-tiled buildings and hailed as the birthplace of mole poblano. Also, RESULTS are in for the door contest... Coming in at #1: Ms. Chapa!  Congrats to her 3rdperiod for working together in celebration of Hispanic Heritage month. Our administrators will soon reward you with donuts. Coming in at 2nd we have Ms. Davis and 3rd LeClair! HHS swag will be awarded to both classes as well. On behalf of PODER, thank you to all of the participating classes. Let's continue to celebrate all types of cultures at HHS. 🙂

 

  • Good morning Scots! Avid’s college of the week is South East Alaska. The campuses Juneau, Ketchikan, and Sitka are located on Auke Bay. Juneau houses the university’s School of Career Education, offering health care, construction, welding, mining, and power technology programs. South East Alaska specializes in mostly arts and science, education, and career education. There are also more than 40 social events each year to engage the community. Their application for next school year is already open…so don’t wait!
