• Today is the day!  Please be sure to vote for the 2024 Homecoming court!  All current Highland students are able to vote.  Winners of the Homecoming court will be announced at Friday's game at halftime!  Use the following link: https://forms.gle/TGvWjtoZpxeyMDCx9or QR Code

• Scots! Today is Highland's Club Rush Day at lunch! Come out at lunch to see what clubs we have, get information about them and sign up! This is a great opportunity to get involved!  See you at lunch!

• Scots! Our first food sale of the year is this Thursday! Be sure to bring a little extra cash with you Thursday to buy some food. We have things from burgers, fries, tacos, baked potatoes, lemonade, acai bowls just to name a few!  Vendors will be set up behind the WAH by the gym.  See you then!

• Students! Are you interested in learning more about University of San Diego? If so, we will have a UC San Diego representative on campus Thursday, October 10^thduring 1^st If you would like to attend this presentation, please sign-up using the QR link located in the announcements on the Counselor Canvas page.

• Students! Are you interested in learning more about the University of Santa Barbara? If so, we will have a UC Santa Barbara representative on campus Thursday, October 16th during 6th period. • Attention Scots!! Scotty forgot to celebrate Easter, so he decided to hide a bunch of easter eggs around the quad for lunch. There are a variety of prizes. Some prizes are worth up to $25! We hope to see you out there at lunch. If you find a special prize ticket, you must bring it to Mr. Valdez in 14J to claim your prize! Plaid Up!

• Scots! Please join us for Scotty's New Year's Eve Homecoming Dance this coming Saturday 7:00pm - 10:00pm in the gym.  Tickets are now on sale in the Finance Office for $10 with an ASB sticker, $15 without and $20 at the door.  Pre-sale ends Thursday after school. You must have your ID to purchase a ticket and get into the dance.  This dance is only open to Highland High School students.

• AP students:  It's time to decide if you will take the AP exams this coming May.  The deadline to pay for the exam is October 25^thand it will be here before you know it.  Tests are $99 or $20 if you qualify for a reduced fee.  A $40 non-refundable deposit OR a $20 non-refundable payment (if you qualify) is due by October 25^th to avoid a late fee.  Payments can be made at the finance office or the on-line student store at kern.graystep.com.  Don't delay - get 'er done today!

Club News:

• YWEL girls, there will be a meeting today in room 4E during lunch. Please arrive at the beginning of lunch.
