Announcements:
- Students - If you are doing any transactions at the Finance Office, you MUST have your student ID card! This makes the transactions go quicker and also helps to identify who you are. Please pick up your ID card in the library before or after school if you have not done so already!
- Freshmen- If have not taken a picture for your ID please come to the library before or after school to take your photo.
- Scots - This is your last chance to buy a c/o 2025 or Highland yard sign! Signs are $20 and can be purchased in the Finance Office!
- Are you tired of paying for the football and volleyball games? Do you want discounts on dances and other school events? Then buy an ASB sticker!! ASB stickers get you into all KHSD athletic events for free (except playoffs) and discounts on several things. Stop by the Finance Office to purchase. You MUST have your school ID though. If you still need your ID - go by the library before school, lunch or after school to pick up.
- Seniors - If you haven't taken your FREE senior yearbook picture either on campus or at the studio, please contact Carlos Murillo at 661-332-4170 to schedule an appointment ASAP. The deadline is fast approaching!
Seniors - If you did not order your cap and gowns on Wednesday with Jostens, they will be back in November taking orders. You can also order on-line at Jostens.com. See Ms. Barber-Smith if you have any questions.
- Scots! Do you know anyone ages 3-12 who would like to be a Highland Cheerleader for a night? Our Future Scots Cheer game is September 20thand cheer clinic registration forms are now available! Please see Ms. Barber-Smith in the Activities Office or any cheerleader for a form.
Club News:
- Hello Scots! The Spanish Honors Society will have their first meeting of the year this Wednesday, September 11 in room 15C during lunch. This meeting is only for students taking a 3rdor 4th year of Spanish. We will be nominating this year’s executive board. We will also be discussing community service and fundraising ideas for the year. If you have any questions, please stop by Sr. Delgado’s classroom 15C. Hope to see you there".
- Next Art Club Meeting, When: Wednesday, September 11th, Where: Room 8A. Join us as we select our top three designs for Via Arteand brainstorm ideas for our club T-shirt. This is an important meeting, and everyone’s input is valued! New and returning members are welcome—hope to see you there.
- Attention Highland Photo Collective Members! There will be a meeting in 7H Tuesday 9/10 at lunch. We will be electing officers and discussing other club business at this meeting. Hope to see you there!
