Announcements:

 

  • The results are in!! Congratulations to the winners of the 9thGrade Class Council Election:  Pub Chair - Mylee-Jo Reed, Treasurer - Maya Khan, Secretary - Mario A. Guerrero, Vice President - Giselle Duenas, and President is. . . . . .   Micah Jaime!!!  Congratulations to our new council and thank you to all the candidates that applied and everyone who voted.  

 

  • Good morning, Studious Scots! After school tutoring will begin running on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays every week from 4:00-5:30 p.m. in the library. On Tuesdays, students can get help in English, science, history, and math. On Wednesdays, we will have tutors for Science and Math. Thursday, we will have tutors in History, Science, and Econ. A tutoring bus will run on all three evenings at 5:30 p.m. outside the library.

 

  • Seniors! If you missed the grade level assembly last week, please come by the Activities Office to pick up the Jostens packet. 

 

  • Seniors!  Jostens will be on campus today taking cap and gown orders at lunch!  Please bring your completed order form and your money to place your order. Cap and gowns are $20.75!

 

  • Scots! Next week is our Veteran's Night football game. Be sure you get your shirt before they sell out! They are available in the Finance Office or the Student Store for $25.

 

Club News:

 

  • The first Got the Dot meeting of this year will be this Thursday during lunch.  We meet in room 6F on the first Thursday of each month.  Come by and see what GTD is all about.

 

  • Interested in community service?  Come to the Red Cross Club meeting this Friday at lunch in room 14C for information about the organization and upcoming events.

 

  • Good morning, Scots!  It’s time for AVID’s College of the Week. This week our school is Arizona State University! Fact 1: 33% of students at ASU are first generation college students. Fact 2: ASU is 1 of 5 schools funded by NASA's Aeronautics University Leadership Initiative, making it a great school if you want to get into aerospace engineering. Fact 3: Students planning on applying to ASU should have a 3.0 gpa or higher.

 

  • Do you arrive at school early and need a place to go? Are you looking to make new friends, join a team, and learn something exciting? Do you want the chance to compete for medals and potentially earn college credit? If so, Academic Decathlon is the perfect opportunity for you!
