Announcements:
- Scots! Picture day is this week based on the following schedule: Thursday is 10thgraders with their PE classes and 11th with their English classes and Friday is 9th grade with their PE classes and 12th grade with their English classes. 12th grade is Synergy pictures only. IF you want to order pictures, please check with your PE teacher or English teacher.
- Boys' Basketball practice for non-football and cross-country athletes, is happening Tue Aug. 27that 4PM in the gym. Make sure you have your physical uploaded to SportsNet, as well as your online packet completed. Any questions or concerns come see Coach Smith in the gym, or Coach Valdez in room 14D.

- Hey hey Super Scots! Do you like theatre? Do you like to act? Do you like Shakespeare? Do you want to be part of a competitive team? Then come audition for Highland's Ensemble Team for the 2024 Peg Pauly High School Shakespeare Festival at Bakersfield College! This year's scene is from 2 GENTLEMAN OF VERONA! Auditions will be held September 4th and 5th after school in the WAH from 4 to 5:30pm! For more information, please see Mr. Thompson in room 8

- Good morning, Scots! It’s time for AVID’s College of the Week. This week our school is Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. Fact 1: 46% of NAU students are the first in their family to attend college and are given a $2000 scholarship annually from the First Scholars Program. Fact 2: NAU has more than 190 undergraduate programs. Fact 3: NAU has 400+ student clubs and organizations.
