Announcements:

• Freshmen!  If you did not take your ID picture at registration last spring, please be sure to go by the library to get your picture taken at lunch or after school. You need your picture in order to pick up your ID card.  All ID cards are available for pick up in the library!

• Sophomores, Juniors, & Seniors - Have you done it yet?  Have you gotten ahead of the game and signed up for the PSAT or SAT?  Scholarships are available through these tests - don't leave that money on the table.  Sign-ups are happening now and will end soon.  PSAT is $16 and the SAT is $60 but there are free tests available - go see Mrs. Verde in the Career Center in room 2A.   The test will be given during school in October, but you've got to get yourself on the list to take the test now.  Sale ends right after Labor Day so delay.  Talk to your counselor if you are unsure as to which test applies to you. 

• Attention Ladies, if you are interested in joining the wrestling team, there will be a meeting this Thursday during lunch in the wrestling room, located across from the 14 portables. We hope to see you there!

• If you are interested in playing soccer this year, Boys soccer will be having a meeting during lunch this Thursday (August 22nd) in Room 15c.

• Attention Senior! Join us bright and early at 6am on the football field this Friday the 23^rd, for our very first event of the year, Senior Sunrise!! Feel free to bring blankets and food to enjoy while watching the sunrise. There will be donuts and backdrops to take pictures with your friends. See you there!

• Attention all students interested in playing Girls Basketball:  Fall workouts begin Wednesday August 21^stfrom 7-9pm and continue Thursday from 6-8pm in the gym.  If you would like updates on future preseason workouts, please stop by the Athletics office to sign up for reminders on our app. See you Wednesday night in the gym at 7pm!

Club News:

• Fellowship of Christian Athletes will host our first meeting of the year on Wednesday 8/21 in 6F.  Grab your lunch and come join FCA as we begin the new year..

• The first meeting for the chess club will be held on Wednesday, August 21^stafter school at 4pm in room 5C. If you are new, experienced, or interested in learning more about the chess club, then this is for you.
