- Attention Senior! Join us bright and early at 6am on the football field this Friday the 23rd, for our very first event of the year, Senior Sunrise!! Feel free to bring blankets and food to enjoy while watching the sunrise. There will be donuts and backdrops to take pictures with your friends. See you there!
- Scots!! The rivalry is back! You'll want this shirt for Friday's football game against East! Battle of the Blocks shirts are now available for purchase at the student store and the finance office for $25. Quantities are limited- so don't wait!
- Seniors! If you have not taken your senior yearbook picture yet, Carlos Murillo will be on campus taking pictures Wednesday, 1st-3rdperiods and Thursday, 5th - 7th You will be taking pictures with your Government or Econ teachers. Please come prepared!
- Sophomores & Juniors - Get yourself set for college by taking the PSAT - the only qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship Program which gave out over 7500 scholarships last year. Sign up by Wednesday, September 4th. It costs $18 to the finance office unless you qualify for a free test. See Mrs. Verde in room 2A for the application. Don't delay - get yourself set for your future!
- Juniors & Seniors - Have you already taken the PSAT? Then you are ready for the SAT!!!! Many colleges are returning to requiring the SAT so Highland will be offering the in-school exam. The cost is $60 to the finance office OR stop by room 2A and talk to Mrs. Verde to see if you qualify for a discounted or free test. Your future is calling - get yourself ready!
- Attention all students interested in playing Girls Basketball: Fall workouts begin Wednesday August 21stfrom 7-9pm and continue Thursday from 6-8pm in the gym. If you would like updates on future preseason workouts, please stop by the Athletics office to sign up for reminders on our app. See you Wednesday night in the gym at 7pm!
- Scots! Do you want to get into the football game against East for free? Want to see a volleyball game for free? Stop by the Finance Office to buy an ASB sticker for $25. These stickers get you into ALL KHSD athletic events for free (except playoffs) - either at Highland or away! They also get you discounts on things such as dance tickets and other events. You must have your ID card to purchase! Please make sure you pick up your ID card in the library!
- 9thGrade Students! If you are interested in running for 9th Grade Class Council and want to help plan activities for your grade - stop by the Activities Office for an application! Applications are due by next Wednesday, August 28th! If you have questions, please see Ms. Barber-Smith.
