Announcements:

 

  • Seniors:  Friday is the last day you can buy your Grad Night tickets!  Tickets are available for purchase for $141 in the Finance Office and include entrance into Universal Studios and transportation to and from the park.  Tickets will not be sold in May and are pre-order only!!  Permission sleeps are in the Activities Office.  

 

  • If you bought an Iron Man shirt, please see Ms. Cerna in the gym at lunch. 

 

  • The Iron Man volleyball game is this Wednesday!!! Tickets are $5! Come see your favorite teachers go head-to-head or the battle of classes in a volleyball match. Games start at 5:30pm! See you there! 

 

  • Powder Puff packets are available in the athletics/activity’s office. You must pay for your shirt then take the receipt and packet to 7J. Packets must be turned in by Thursday March 21st. See Coach Gutierrez if you have any questions.

 

 

  • Scots - As we wrap up National Women's Month, did you know that our current Mayor - Mayor Goh, is the first female mayor in Bakersfield? Did you also know that this year's theme is: "Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion."  As U.S. Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm once said, "If they don't give a seat at the table, bring a folding chair." Here's to all the women and young ladies on our campus who make a difference every day!

 

  • Scots! If you are interested in running for a position on ASB next year, applications are due Tuesday, March 19thby 4:00pm.  Please be sure to sign up for an interview when you turn in your application.  If you have any question, please see MBS in the Activities Office.  

 

  • After school tutoring is cancelled for Tuesday, March 19thand Thursday, March 21st due to Freshmen registration. Before school tutoring is still available Wednesday morning from 8:00-8:45 a.m. and Wednesday after school from 4:00-5:30 p.m. 

 

Club News:

 

  • Boys Basketball would like to congratulate Lance Haworth for winning both The 3 Point Contest, and The Dunk Contest at The Kern High All Star Game this past Wednesday, which is the first time in the history of the event that any player from any school has won both contests. Congrats Lance.
