Announcements:

 

  • AP Students:  Have you done it yet?  Have you paid for your AP exam?  Have you joined your AP Classroom?  Like Halloween, the deadline will be here before you know it.  Friday, October 27this the last day to pay for your exams before the late fee is implemented.  If you still have questions, talk to your AP teacher, your counselor, or come see Mrs. Procell in room 4G.  Don't miss out ... get it done today!  

 

  • Attention Class of 24!  If you pre-order a class shirt, they are available for pick up on October 19th in Mr. Mathew's room (3F).  There are also a limited number of shirts available for purchase.  They are $20.00 and first come, first serve until we run out.

 

  • Scots it’s time for a night full of scares and fun! Video production is hosting its first Halloween Horror Night! A Horror themed Film Festival happening Next Wednesday in the WAH come by and watch your friends on the big screen and support our video production students’ films. Make sure to stop by our table at lunch this week and get your tickets because price will double at the door! Also be sure to follow us on Instagram @hhs_videopro to get more information!

  • Softball season is around the corner. If you are interested in signing up for the spring season stop by 7k and scan the QR code on the door to receive all the information. Sportsnet clearance will be needed for any preconditioning participation that will start in November.

 

  • Women’s basketball tryouts October 23rd- 630-830pm, 24th-430-630pm, 25th 630-830pm Please make sure to have a physical and athletic packet turned in before. 

 

  • Good morning, Scots!  It’s time for AVID’s College of the Week.  This week our school is Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Fact 1: GCU ranked #17 best college campus in America for 2023 and #1 college campus in Arizona. Fact 2: In the last year, GCU students collectively received over $300 million in scholarships. Fact 3: GCU's school colors and mascot (Purple and Thunder the Antelope) were decided by students. Congratulations to the majority of the AVID class of 2024, who were recently accepted into Grand Canyon University!
