• Scots! Did you hear your name in the rally during acknowledgements for showing PRIDE in the PLAID?! If so, you get some FREE HHS swag. Swing by the Athletics/Activities office during your lunch period to pick it up 🙂

• Scots! The Student Store is selling Slushies for $3.00.  We are also selling Pizza on Tuesdays for $3.00 a slice.

• Seniors!  If you have not taken your free senior yearbook picture yet, please be sure to schedule an appointment with Carlos Murillo photography as soon as possible.  Only pictures from Carlos Murillo will be used in the yearbook. The deadline is coming soon!

• What? You haven't purchased your ASB sticker yet?  Don't you want to get into games for free all year?  Stop by the Finance Office to purchase your ASB sticker for $25 which will get you discounts on campus and free entry to all KHSD athletic events.

• Sophomores & Juniors - Not sure if you are you ready for college?  Unsure of how to pay for college?  There's a way to do both at the same time!  We are offering the PSAT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test) which will give you an indication of your academic strengths and areas of growth AND can qualify you for a National Merit Scholarship.  Registration for the PSAT is now open.  The cost is $18 OR free if you are a qualifying junior.  All sign-ups are in the finance office until Wednesday, September 13th.  If you still have questions, contact your counselor.  Get a jump on your future and sign up today!

Club News:

• REMINDER! Girls Soccer pre-conditioning starts Monday 9/11 from 6:00am-7:15am. Please bring your cleats, running shoes, and water. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Winans in 7A!

• Esports is still here at Highland! If you’re planning on joining the team this year, come by 11D during lunch today or next week on Monday. Look for Mr. Zavala to get the details!

• Hey Scots! GSA will have its first meeting Tuesday 9/12. All are welcome. Meet in Nelson's room 4PF during lunch.

• Scots! Girls Soccer preconditioning period will be starting next week Monday September 11th from 6:00-7:15am. Students have to be medically cleared on Sportsnet to participate. Any questions please reach out to Coach Pedro or Cassie
