Announcements:

• Freshmen!  If you purchased the 9^thgrade bundle at last year's Scots Preview Night or Registration, please make sure you pick up your ID card from the library with your ASB sticker!  If you didn't buy the bundle and need a PE uniform, they are available for purchase during lunch at the Student Store.  Please remember the ASB sticker gets you into ALL Kern High School athletic events such as volleyball and football - home and away!

• Freshmen: If you do not have a device at home and would like to check out a Chromebook, please ask your English teacher for a copy of the Chromebook checkout contract.  You need to complete the form and have a parent sign it. You can stop by the library before or after school this Thursday 8/24 or Friday 8/25 to checkout a Chromebook. You will not be issued a Chromebook unless you have a completed form with you.

• Cafeteria will be serving Dinner right after school in the cafeteria to 5:00. The cafeteria also will be serving Snack at 5:30-6:00 in the cafeteria. We look forward to you coming to get some good food😊

• Attention Seniors!  Senior Class Shirts are available for purchase.  Pre order your shirts at the finance for $19.00 and represent the class of 24 with pride.  Available until September 1st.

Club News:

• Any girls interested in women’s basketball; conditioning starts September 4th 430pm 

• Celebrate surviving your first full week of school with a yummy snow cone!  The Red Cross Club will be selling snow cones outside the student parking lot gate this Friday after school. 

• Scots! All students interested in joining the Highland Girls Soccer Program this upcoming season, please join us for our informational meeting on Friday September 1st during lunch in Building 7A. If you have any questions, please stop by and visit Coach Cassie in 7A.
