  • Seniors - Cap and gowns will be distributed on May 9thduring lunch by the Finance Office.  If you are unable to pick them up that day, please come by the Activities Office after May 9th with your ID. 

 

  • We've got spirit, yes, we do! We've got spirit - how about you?!  Are you interested in trying out for next year's cheer team? Now's the time to sign up at: cheerscots.weebly.com. Applications and physicals are due by Friday, May 12that 4:00pm. If you have any questions, please come by the Activities Office. 

 

  • Class Council applications are due next Tuesday, May 2nd!  9thand 11th graders - where you at?  We have not had very many applicants from your grade yet.  We need your leadership next year! Scan the QR code on the yellow fliers that around campus or come by the Activities Office if you have any questions.

  • Hey Scots, May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Every day for the month of May we will be providing a self-care tip, today’s tip is to create a favorite things basket/or space with pictures or things you love that bring you joy

 

  • Good morning, Scots!  It’s time for AVID’s College of the Week. This week our school is UC Riverside!! Fact 1 : US News and World Report has ranked UC Riverside as the no. 1 public university in the United States for social mobility four years in a row. Fact 2 : UC Riverside has a 66% acceptance rate. Fact 3 : UC Riverside has very high racial diversity; 89% of students are minorities or people of color. Congratulations to AVID senior, Maria Tellez, for being accepted—and plans to attend UC Riverside.  We love your determination!
