Announcements:

• SCOTS! It’s Salad Dressing spirit week! Tomorrow is RANCH DRESSING! Show off your school spirit and dress in your best country outfit.

• Attention JR and Senior boys who signed up for Iron Man! Practice is tonight and on Tuesday 6:30-8pm in the gym! All players must be there to participate in the game.  Shirts will be distributed at practice for those who have their receipts." 

• Scots! If you are interested in running for next year's ASB, applications are now available!  Use the QR code that you can find on the ASB door and around campus. The deadline to apply is March 24^that 4:30pm.  Class council applications will be available after Spring Break!

• Hey Super Scots! It is that time of year again! Highland's spring musical, The Addams Family, opens this week on Thursday at 7pm in the WAH! Performances play this Thursday and Friday at 7pm, and Saturday at 2pm and 7pm! Doors open 30 minutes before show time. Tickets are available at the door for $10. Join us for a kooky and spooky time! For more information, see Mr. Thompson in room 8C!

• March is National Theatre in Our Schools   According to the National Endowment for the Arts, high school students who earn few or no arts credits are five times less likely to graduate than students who earn multiple arts credits.  Want to make friends and memories that will last a lifetime while working your way to graduation day? See Mr. Thompson in room 8C and find out how you can be a part of the spectacular Royal Scots Theatre Program!

• A huge congratulations to the Highland Newspaper for winning 1st place best Feature Story and Honorable Mention for Sports Story @ the annual Kern Journalism Day! It was                                                originally spelled with an "er" — Golden Gaters — a play on words to emphasize SF State's        location.                 Congratulations to AVID seniors David Hernandez, Grecia Moncada Perez, and Maria    Tellez for being                      accepted into San Francisco State!

• Hey Gamers!  Important Esports fundraising meeting on Wednesday, March 15^thdirectly after school at 4:10pm in Mr. Rad's room 7H. If you played Overwatch or League of Legends for Highland this year, please be there.  We are hoping to fund new shirts for next year, an end of the year Game Fest and Gaming Keyboards.  If you plan on participating in Esports next year stop by.  If you can't make it, but still want to help out with fundraising for next year, also stop by and let Mr. Rad know that you want to help out.  See you then!
