Club News:

  • Good morning, Scots!  It’s time for AVID’s College of the Week. This week our school is San Francisco State University.                                                                                                                                                  Fact 1: San Francisco State has over 200 student organizations to get involved in.                            Fact 2: SF State has a 93% acceptance rate.                                                                                                  Fact 3: The Gator (alligator) is the school’s mascot, selected by students in 1931. It was                    originally spelled with an "er" — Golden Gaters — a play on words to emphasize SF State's        location. Congratulations to AVID seniors David Hernandez, Grecia Moncada Perez, and Maria    Tellez for being accepted into San Francisco State!
