  • Congratulations to the AVID Senior Class for surpassing $800,000 in scholarships to which they have applied.  A special shout out to Andrew Meza, Yerizel Garcilazo, Teresa Bangert, and Kendra Rutludge who have each applied to over $100,000.  We love your hard work and determination!

 

  • Scots! Girls’ basketball Senior Night is tonight against BHS, Come and support your seniors at 6:30pm!

  • Good morning, Scots!  It’s time for AVID’s College of the Week.  This week our school is Hawaii Pacific university. Here are some facts to know about Hawaii Pacific University                                    Students from over 100 countries study at HPU, making it one of the most diverse campuses in the world.                                                                                                        Hawaii Pacific provides personalized learning and small class sizes.                                The Acceptance rate is 85.3% as of 2021 and HPU has strong academic programs.  Congratulations to AVID Senior Teresa Bangert for being accepted to HPU!

 

  • Calling all students 16 and up! Highland will be hosting a blood drive to give back to our community. The blood drive will be held on February 17! If you are interested in donating, we encourage you to stop by our sign-up booth Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 5thlunch THIS WEEK ONLY! If you are an underclassman that is at least 16 and interested in donating blood, signups will be held THURSDAY ONLY at 4th lunch! We really hope to see you there!
