• Seniors! Did you apply to CSUB? The Cal State Bakersfield Scholarship Program Application is now open and closes on February 8, 2023, 5:00 PM PT.  Apply Now! : https://csubscholarship.hsfts.net/sign-up

• Girls’ basketball Senior Night is on Thursday against Ridgeview, come and support your seniors at 6:30pm February 2nd!

• Scots! The Finance Office hours are now Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm. 

Club News:

• Calling all students 16 and up! Highland will be hosting a blood drive to give back to our community. The blood drive will be held on February 17! If you are interested in donating, we encourage you to stop by our sign-up booth Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 5^thlunch THIS WEEK ONLY! If you are an underclassman that is at least 16 and interested in donating blood, signups will be held THURSDAY ONLY at 4^th lunch! We really hope to see you there! 

• Tired of those toxic relationships? Cheated on? Ghosted? We got you. Join the Stay Focused team every Thursday starting on February 2nd for the new season of our Healthy Relationships class. Food and fun are always provided. Join us every Thursday in the WAH.

• All students, teachers, and staff are invited to participate in the Clean & Green Club's "Great CampusClean-Up" on Wednesday, February 1st, right after school.  We will first meet in Room 16D and commence clean up at approximately 4:10 PM. This event should last to about 4:45 PM.  Pizza will be served after the event.  Come out and help us make our campus beautiful and litter-free.  We welcome all clubs once again.  Also, many many thanks to our club members who volunteered for last Saturday's Apple Core Project at Grace Street Garden.  We got our hands dirty, but it was a worthwhile service to the community. Go Scots!

• Hey there, Scots!  Are you interested in learning more about aviation related careers such piloting and airplane maintenance?  The HHS AVID program is pleased to announce that a representative from California Aeronautical University will be on campus this Thursday, February 2nd during periods 4 and 6 to help you learn about their different programs.   Sign up today at the College and Career Center in the library.  It's time to take flight!
