Announcements:

 

  • Are you going to Formal?? If so, the wrestling team is giving one lucky winner a chance to go for free!!!!! All you must do is attend the home dual on December 7th. Raffle will be drawn before varsity match winner Only one winner will be picked and must be present to win.

 

  • Hey Scots – The girls basketball game will be hosting a teddy bear toss during halftime on 12/13/22 at 6:30pm. Bring a teddy bear, and show your support, and school spirit!

 

  • Hey, Scots! Anyone who is interested in playing tennis for this upcoming spring season should attend a meeting at lunch on Thursday, December 8th. Room 7G for 4th period lunch and Room 5J for 5th period lunch.

 

 

Club News:

 

  • All students, teachers, and staff are invited to participate in the Clean & Green Club's "Great Campus Clean-Up" on Wednesday, December 7th, right after school.  We will first meet in Room 16D and commence clean up at approximately 4:10. This event should last to about 4:45 PM.  We had a great turn out last month, and would like to thank the ASB, BSU, HHS Red Cross, and various other organizations who helped us make our campus beautiful and litter-free.  We welcome all clubs once again.  See you then

 

  • Do you love hot cocoa? Do you want to make ornaments? Come to Pride Club's cocoa & crafts party after school! All are welcome. We will be serving cocoa and making ornaments from 4:00-5:30 in Ms. Cornford's class after school TODAY!"

 

  • Art club will be selling X-Mas Cards by the finance office at both lunch periods all this week.  They will be sold for $2.00 each.

 

  • Good morning, Scots!  It’s time for AVID’s College of the Week.  This week our school is Georgia State University Fact 1: Georgia State competes at the Division 1 level in sports such as football, softball, baseball, soccer, and tennis. Fact 2: Their campus foods, dorms, and classes are all within a short walking distance, kind of   like a plaza.  Fact 3. It's a fairly large, public 4-year university
