Announcements:

 

  • Are you interested in hearing about University of California, Merced? UC Merced will be hosting a zoom presentation here in the library Monday, November 7th during 6th If you would like to attend the presentation, pleases stop by the College and Career Center located in the library to sign up.

 

  • Sophomores and Juniors, the ROC CTEC application is now open for next school year. Visit the ROC website to complete your application before the deadline on March 9

 

  • Congrats from the Library to our TOP TEN readers from last month's challenge! They will receive a pizza party! Join us for November's reading challenge: Family Stories. Come to the library or go to the library webpage for more info & to sign up. Happy reading!

 

 

Club News:

 

  • Wednesday, 11/2 – “TODAY at lunch, Pride Club/GSA will meet during lunch in Ms. Cornford’s class, room 4P-D. Grab your food and come over!”

 

  • Art Club will meet again on Nov 15th in 8A at 8AM.

 

  • Congratulations to the AVID Class of 2023 for surpassing a half a million dollars in scholarships applied to.  A special shout out to Teresa Bangert, Mia Botello, Jade Garcia, Yerizel Garcilazo, Nathaniel Lozano, Marcos Manzanares, Andrew Meza, Kendra Rutledge, and Maria Tellez for leading that charge...We love your hard work and dedication!

 

  • All students, teachers, and staff are invited to participate in the Clean & Green Club's "Great Campus Clean-Up" on Wednesday, November 2ndright after school.  We will first meet in Room 16D and commence clean up at approximately 4:10. This event should last to about 4:45 PM.  We welcome the National Honor Society, Football Teams, Basketball Teams, Soccer Teams, other athletic clubs, and other HHS organizations.  Please help us make our campus beautiful, litter-free, and pristine......a campus we can all be proud of.  Trash bags, gloves, sanitizers, etc. will be provided.  In addition, teachers and staff can earn 5 points toward the Tartan Challenge.  See you then!"
