Announcements:
- AP Students:Don’t miss out – get your payment into the finance office before November 1st for you AP exams so you don’t have to pay the late fee. After November 1st, all exams will be an extra $40 on top of the regular fee. That November deadline is approaching fast. Don’t let Halloween side-line you, get signed up today!
- Scots!! Formal is just around the corner, and you must have ALL debt cleared to attend! Please turn in any old uniforms and textbooks that you might have lying around! You can also check in the Finance Office to see what debt you might have.
- Scots -Do you have your ASB sticker yet? All the cool kids do! ASB stickers get you into all KHSD athletic events for FREE (except for playoffs) and discounts on school events! They are $25 in the Finance Office, and you MUST have your current ID! Make sure you have your sticker to get into all the upcoming Winter sports events!!
- Seniors!!!! If you have NOT taken your senior yearbook picture yet, please call Carlos Murillio ASAP @ 661-332-4170 to schedule an appointment!!! The deadline is October 28th! That is less than two weeks away!!
- Scots!! We have a Food Sale this Thursday! Be sure to bring some extra cash and join us down on the outdoor basketball courts at lunch!! Don't miss out on all the good grub!
- Scots!! Have you bought your Boo Gram yet?? TODAY is the last day to buy one at lunch in front of the Finance Office! Don't disappoint your Boo by not sending them a Boo gram!! Grams are only $4 and include a Smencil, card and treat!
- Girls’ soccer will begin conditioning Monday Oct 24th from 4:30 to 6pm. Soccer cleats are required.
- Girls’ basketball tryouts will be on October 25, 26, and 27th from 4:30-6:30. Anyone and is welcome to come and try out! Make sure that you get your athletic packet completed before then. You can contact Ms. Wold with any questions"

- Good morning, Scots Family! Do you have a dirty car? Well, don't wash it yet...wait a few more days and then bring it to the AVID Club carwash fundraiser! The carwash is this Saturday, October 22nd from 9am until 1pm at Les Schwab Tire on Oswell - just South of Bernard St. Your $5 wash will support students whose dream is to be the first in their family to go to college. We'll see you and your dirty car on Saturday!
- Today at lunch, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes group will be meeting for another great topic of the season. Grab your lunch and come by to fellowship together. Sophomores and Freshmen will meet in 5K, and Seniors and Juniors will meet during their lunch in 5L. Don’t miss the new group activity we have planned for the first Friday of November. See you at lunch!”

Do you have what it takes, to take home the coveted Milli-Vanilli trophy? Then grab your friends, club, team, or crew and show us what you’ve got. Signups will be held THIS WEEK, sign up during both 4th and 5th lunch on October 18th through the 20th in front of the WAH. This year’s theme is 70s and 80s, you will need to sign up with who is in your group and who is the point of contact. Not that it is needed, but FFA will call you out right here right now…..
