Juniors and Seniors - March is State Testing Month!  Juniors and Seniors will be taking the State Science Test next week in their English classes. Please be sure to be at school next week and have a good breakfast!  If you are absent, you will have to make up the test.  Show your Scots Pride! 

 

Seniors - Grad Night tickets are now on sale in the Finance! Permission slip packets are available in the Activities/Athletics Office.  Tickets are $110 and include an overnight ticket to Universal Studios and bus transportation.  Payment plan is available.  You MUST have a negative COVID or proof of vaccination.  Only for graduating Seniors.

Good morning, Scots!  It’s time for AVID’s College of the Week.  This week our school is GCU, Grand Canyon University, in Phoenix, Arizona!

 

Fact 1: There are 17 residence halls at Grand Canyon University. GCU has an aquatics center, a cafe, bowling alley, food court, coffee shop, and video game room.

 

Fact 2: They offer a distance education program, and study abroad programs.

 

 

Fact 3: Thunder the Antelope is the mascot of Grand Canyon University. Antelopes or Lopes is also the nickname of the university. Whereas purple, black, and white are the colors of the university.
