Congratulations to our VAR Girls Basketball team. They took on Washington Union High School last night and took the win 42-38. They will play Friday, 2/25 at 6pm at Highland against Immanuel High in the finals. Get your tickets at https://gofan.co/app/school/CA7949
Attention all Iron Man Players, practices will be held at 5th lunch for boys and girls Friday 2/25 in the gym. You must attend at least one practice to be able to participate in the game on 3/1, no exceptions.
AP Students – AP exams on coming up in May but the payments are due by February 25th! If you paid the deposit in November, then the remainder is now due. However, since the finance office will be close on Friday, you will have until Monday to make the final payments. Don’t delay!
Did you know: In 1956 Floyd E. Norman became the first African American animator for Disney. Norman worked on several Disney classic films, including Sleeping Beauty, 101 Dalmatians and The Jungle Book. After Walt Disney’s death in 1966 Norman with two of his business associates founded Vignette Films which became one of the first studios to make animated films on black history.
