Daily Announcements for Tuesday 5/11/21

Attention all seniors:

Sign up to be the a speaker at your graduation. To sign up email [email protected] your name and uid.

Auditions: Thursday May 20^th at 2:15pm in the WAH. 

Sign up Deadline: Wednesday May 19^th  by 3:30pm with Mrs. Turney (Administration office) 

Parameters:

Students must sign up for auditions by Wednesday May 19^th  at 3:30 pm with Mrs. Turney in the administration office.

Speech tryouts will be held on Thursday May 20^th  at 2:15 pm

• Must be 2-2 ½ minutes in length
• Must follow KHSD and Highland High School policies and procedures.
• Must be original work or must cite if using non-original works or words.
• Must be positive in nature
• Printed copies (4) should accompany student at tryouts.

Final electronic version must be approved and submitted by May 28th to [email protected], School Secretary

Students - School pictures will be next week on May 17th and May 18th during your English class.  If you are a Distance Learning student, you can take pictures Monday, May 17th from 1:30-5:00pm in the library.  You may order pictures at: mylifetouch.com with picture day ID: EVTWKZTQN.

Class of 2021, graduation is coming and June 8th be here before you know it. As we gear up for the end of the year, we want to recognize our students at Highland High School. One event that we look forward to hosting is our HHS Signing Ceremony on Monday, May 24^th. To be included in the ceremony we need you to complete the form on the link below by Wednesday, May 19th:

You will need to let us know what 4 year College, Community College or Military Branch you will be joining next year and upload a picture (hopefully with the school or military attire) that we will include in our presentation.
