Announcement

Hey Scots! This Wednesday 3/11/20 is the last day to get your photo on the sibling page.  Stop by at lunch or after school outside room 3E.

The Activity Bus will leave Highland HS South Parking lot at 7pm now.  It will pick up Swimmers at Garces Memorial HS North Parking Lot at 7:30pm.  It will go on its route after that pickup.  The Activity Bus only operates on Mondays-Thursdays.

Seniors- Grad night tickets are NOW on sale!! Pick up a permission slip from the Activities/Athletics Office and check out our payment plan!  First payment is due in April!

Our next Blood Drive is March 26th. Come by the Activities/Athletics Office to pick up a permission slip!

FS and JV girls’ soccer players: if you did not attend the awards ceremony last week, please come pick up your participation certificate from Ms. Boyer in room 4C.

March is National Theatre in Our Schools Month.  In an experiment called “Project Oxygen” Google did research to find out what skills helped their top employees become so successful. The seven top characteristics of success at Google are all soft skills: being a good coach; communicating and listening well; possessing insights into others (including others different values and points of view); having empathy toward and being supportive of one’s colleagues; being a good critical thinker and problem solver; and being able to make connections across complex ideas. Where do you get those skills, according to the research? Training in Theatre!  Want to learn more? Want to audition for the Advanced Drama class?  See Mr. Thompson in room 14-B and find out all the information you can on how you can be a part of the award-winning Highland Theatre Department.

From the cafeteria:  Outside line by building 8 will now be by the administration office in the new café.  Staff line only will now be by the administration building starting today 3/10.

Attention all upperclassmen, there are wanted flyers around the campus in search of Flynn Rider.  If seen bring him in on May 2, 2020 at our Prom located downtown at World Record Venue.  Good Luck and happy hunting.

Seniors! Scholarship deadlines are approaching fast. Stop by the college and career center to pick up a list of available scholarships.
