Attention Sophomores and Juniors, Ridgeview High school will be offering a Dual Enrollment Honors Geology course this summer. This class earns students Geology credit for college credit. If you are interested in signing-up, please see your counselor.

 

Attention Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors! Are you interested in learning more about yourself and the world of work? The ASVAB Career Exploration Program can help you take steps now toward finding a career that’s right for you. If interested in taking the ASVAB please stop by the college and career center to sign-up by Friday March 6th.

 

Stockdale Moose Lodge has set up a MOOSE scholarship opportunity for high school seniors who not only show their excellence in academics but have also demonstrated leadership skills that involve extra-curricular activities, community service, volunteerism, and have an innate desire to help others. If interested in applying for the Moose scholarship, please stop by the college and career center to pick up an application

 

National School Breakfast Week is March 2nd through the 6th. You will receive a ticket each day you come to the Cafeteria and the Café to get Breakfast during the week. Place the ticket with your name & UID number on the back into the drawing box to win movie tickets.  The drawing will be held on Friday March 6th after breakfast service.

 

Hey Scots! Highland's winter musical, Seussical the Musical, opens this Thursday at 6pm in the WAH! We also have shows at 7pm on Friday, and at 2pm and 7pm on Saturday! You have 4 chances to see this outstanding, whimsical production! Come see all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters mixed together on stage! Presale tickets are available today and tomorrow for $8, and at the door for $10! See you there!

 

Kern High School Teachers for Student Achievement is offering multiple $500.00 scholarships to KHSD seniors planning to attend a university, college or vocational school. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need and academic promise. Please see Mrs. Verde in the college and career center for more information.

 

Hey Seniors! Will you be 18 years old by November 3rd?  Sure, you’ve missed Super Tuesday, but you can still register to vote NOW and vote for our next president later.  Come by the library for details and assistance.
