Historically Black Colleges & Universities, commonly known as HBCUs, were first established to teach freed slaves to read and write when educating Blacks was still illegal. In addition, they once served as one of few places Jewish immigrants were able to find jobs during the Holocaust era. What will your education do for you?
Attention all Highland students: Have you heard about the SSR class reading competition we’re holding during the month of February? The participating class that finishes the highest average number of books this month will win 3 things: a lot of knowledge from reading all those books, a pizza party, and the Highland reading trophy.
