Did College application season pass you by? Have you changed your mind? UC Merced is accepting Freshman applications now until DECEMBER 20, 2019 and CSU Bakersfield has also extended Freshman applications until January 6, 2020.
Hey Scots! Auditions for the school musical start today! They will take place after school today, tomorrow, and Friday and you must attend all 3 days, but not for the whole time! Starting planning now! This year, Highland is putting on ‘SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL!’ This fantastic production combines all of Dr. Seuss’s famous characters into one show! Want to give a friend some encouragement for finals week? The national honors society will be having their candy cane encouragement gram sale this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday during lunch. National Honors society will be located by the office during lunch to take your orders. Your words of encouragement will be delivered to your friends during finals week.
Calling all FRESHMAN!!! Link Crew will be having a study session called Cocoa, Cookies and Cram next Tuesday the 17th! Come to the gym and get a sneak peek at your finals while enjoying some FREE hot cocoa and cookies! Link Leaders and teachers will be available to help you study and answer questions. Open to 9th grade students only!
The Red Cross Club is having a new toy, new/used book, and new/used clothing drive ending next Tuesday on the 17th. Donations will support the Jamison Center and Bakersfield Homeless Shelter. Please bring donations to your participating classrooms or Mrs. Martinez in room 4PD.
