Cal Poly San Luis Obispo will be on campus Nov. 1st, if interested in learning about their campus please see Mrs. Verde in the College and Career Center in room 2A.

 

It is finally here, the moment we all been waiting for…. the PSAT is tomorrow, Wednesday, October 30, 2019.  Please report to the gym no later than 8:15A.M.  Bring a NO.2 pencil, appropriate calculator, jacket or sweater (it’s going to be chilly!) and of course some water.

 

Hola Scots! Scots En Accion is selling t-shirts from 10/28-11/01 for $15.00. Come & stop by the finance office to purchase yours and support our club!

 

Hey Scotsmen, Safe Halloween is approaching, and the Interact Club still needs candy! If you could donate a bag or two of wrapped candy, we would appreciate it! Safe Halloween is an event put on by the Kern County Museum and it gives kids a safe place to trick-or-treat! Help the Interact Club make it a special and fun event and bring some candy to Ms Shinn in Room 3H!

 

Seniors – The deadline for senior yearbook pictures is this Friday!  If you have not taken your yearbook picture yet, please contact Carlos Murrillo Photography as soon as possible!!  Only senior yearbook pictures taken by Carlos Murrillo Photography will be accepted for the yearbook. See Ms. Barber-Smith or Ms. Castro with any questions.

 

Scots – If you didn’t get a chance to buy a Homecoming shirt, they are now on sale for $10 in the Student store!

 

Seniors – Come out and vote for this year’s Lad and Lass at lunch tomorrow. The nominees are: Nayeli Chavolla Ayala, Navaeh Linton, Kylie Lopez, Assy Nandawula, and Maya Wright for Lass.  Matthew Burdick, Conner Estes, Jalen Hudgins, Lucas Ortiz, Mathew Ortiz, Keshav Patel and Nick Salas for Lad.  These are students who have shown outstanding performance in leadership, scholarship and Service to Highland.  

 

Fall sports pictures are in.  Come to the athletics office before school, lunch or after school to pick them up.

 

Mr. Finch needs volunteers for Thursday and Friday’s football games.  If interested see Mr. Finch in Athletic Office.

 

Battle of the blocks long sleeved shirts are now available in the student store for $20.  Gets yours today!

 

The finance office will be pre-selling tickets for Highland vs. East Frosh-Soph and JV/Varsity games starting today and ends Friday after lunch.
