Girls Varsity Tennis got the 4 seed in div 4 and they will play Coalinga next Tuesday in the quarter final round. Way to go Ladies!

Girls Basketball conditioning today at the outside courts after school.

Girls soccer conditioning is starting today! It will be held after school at 3:45-5. Please meet on the grass outside of the girls locker room. See Ms. Boyer in 4C for any questions.

Hey Seniors: Need community service hours? LOVE Halloween? Then come pick up an application to volunteer at the Kern County Museum for their Safe Halloween events on Oct. 30th and 31st. Applications are in the library.

Congrats to Mrs. Hudgins class for winning the class competition. Next competition will be for 2nd and 3rd PE freshmen classes who have the lease non-suits, competition started last Monday and will ends Tuesday the 30th. Winning class gets pizza.

SENIORS!  Kern Community Foundation will be giving a scholarship presentation on October 18th if you’re not signed up come to the career center 2A to attend.

Attention guys and gals dances will be coming soon. Make sure you have a current Highland ID, if you have lost it, and need a replacement please head to the library and get your temporary today.  New ID’s are $3.00, and that can be paid in the finance office.   • Scots En Accion's purpose is to enrich Hispanic culture and to provide opportunities to speak Spanish and learn more about the Hispanic world. Everyone is welcome to join! For more information you may contact Ms. Alatorre, Mr. Sanchez, or Mr. Juarez. Club Scots En Accion (Scots in action) will meet every Thursday during lunch in room 3D. See you there!
  • Red Cross Club Announcement -- The Hurricane Florence relief donation was a success. We raised $450! Thank you to all those who participated. The top three donating classrooms were Parra with $84, Chapman with $39 and Crosby with $34.
