Today is Pi Day! Come to the quad and see at least one math teacher getting a pie in the face at lunch. Vote by adding money to the donation cans in your math teacher’s classroom. The teacher with the most money raised will get a pie in the face. Donations end today by the end of second period. All money raised will go to charity.

 

Congratulations to the AVID Class of 2022 for passing $500,000 in scholarships to which they have applied!  Absolutely awesome...we love your leadership and determination in trying to lower your college debt...we are very proud of you and can't wait to see how much you earn!

Juniors and Seniors - March is State Testing Month!  Juniors and Seniors will be taking the State Science Test next week in their English classes. Please be sure to be at school next week and have a good breakfast!  If you are absent, you will have to make up the test.  Show your Scots Pride!

Taking the ASVAB Career Exploration Test can help you understanding your skills, abilities, and interests and will help you make the best decision about your future. If you are interested in taking the ASVAB test on March 31st please see Mrs. Verde in the College and Career Center located in the library to sign up.

Hey Esports enthusiasts - The League of Legends regular season has officially ended yesterday with Highland upending West 2-0 in a couple of very close matches.  Highland finishes the season with a respectable 8-4 regular season record and heads to the League of Legends Championship at Ridgeview this Saturday, March 12th.  This is an all-day event from 8:30 am until 5pm and spectators are welcome!   Come cheer on the varsity team of:   Zeke Martin, Deaken Kimbrell, Gabriel Moore, Seth Gonzalez and Joseph Ballerini and Varsity Reserve:  August Moore in their quest to upset the higher seeded teams.  You won't regret watching the competitive spirit in the Esports arena.

 

Also, Overwatch season and practice begins Monday, March 14th and the District Overwatch "free accounts" are now accessible.  Come see Mr. Raddatz to earn a spot on the team(s) and pick up an Overwatch permission slip.
