Project BEST will meet this THURSDAY in room 7F during lunch!  Highland's BSU will meet this FRIDAY in room 7F during lunch.  Please grab your lunch and report to room 7F.  Again, that's Project BEST on Thursday and BSU on Friday.  Hope to see you there!

The cafeteria staff will be serving Dinner Monday thru Friday 4:30- 6:00 in the cafeteria.

Seniors –The Senior Shirts and Sweatshirts pre-sale is happening until February 2nd.  Shirts are $15 and sweatshirts are $30.  Get your order forms from your government or econ teacher and make your purchase in the finance office.  Don’t miss out!

T-SHIRT TUESDAY! Calling all clubs & sports to wear their club and sports T-SHIRT every Tuesday to promote your club and sport and to show your extracurricular spirit!

Attention potential swim athletes: The swim practice bus will start picking up students beginning today at 3:45 in the south student parking lot. You must be cleared to get on the bus. Stop by the athletic office for more information or to get cleared.


“Caw, Caw!”  A little birdie told me you should audition for HHS Talent Show!  You can sing, dance, rap, do magic tricks, beatbox, etc.  When?  Thursday January 25th.Where? Room 8C what time? 3:30 after school. Why? Because we like you! Please prepare a one-minute audition.  See you there!

Interested in cheer-leading! Tryouts are coming quickly; we will be holding clinics and tryouts the week of March 19-23! If you are interested and have more questions, please see Abe in room 4I! More information is to come!

SENIORS-Do you want extra money for college? Please come by the Career Center in 2A, Mrs. Carter has several scholarships for you to come and check out.

Seniors – Our next and FINAL cap  and gown order dates is February 7th. Herff Jones will be on campus during lunch by the Finance Office taking orders. Order forms are available in the Athletics Office or on-line at Herff Jones.  If you do not place your order by this date, you will have to go to the Herff Jones Office to do so. 

Attention Spring athletes: Spring season is just around the corner. If you plan to participate in a spring sport, you must be cleared first, so stop by athletic office to get an athletic packet or to switch your sport. 

Boys Tennis is still accepting new athletes for the spring season. No experience is necessary. Practice is right after school on the Tennis Courts. Stop by the athletic office for more info.

Formal voting is Thursday during lunch! Please stop by during lunch to vote for the Formal King, Queen, Prince and Princess!!

Formal bids are still available!!! Come by the Finance Office before school, lunch or after school to purchase.  You must have a signed permission slip, all debts cleared and a current HHS Id card to purchase your bid.  Bids are:  $50/each or $45/ with ASB sticker.  Don’t miss out on this Starry Night!

  • Kindness club meets every Tuesday at lunch in room 5H with Mrs. Mawhirter, grab some lunch and bring your shine.

  • Attention AdvoCats, there is a meeting this Wednesday in 4L, so grab your lunch and I will see you there.

  • Interested in The Movement, Bible Club! Come by 2B, Mrs. Slagle’s room at lunch on Tuesday.

  • InterAct Club meeting this Wednesday 1/24 at lunch in 3C.

  • International Solidarity Club meeting on Thursday in 4PF during lunch.
