- This week is also National School Lunch Week! Thank you to the people who prepare and serve meals to Highland students every school day. We appreciate our nutrition services team!
- Scots, just a reminder that the Highland Threads Thrift Closet is open on Mondays after school, Tuesdays and Thursdays before school and every 3rdThursday during lunch. This Thursday we will be open for lunch so come by and thrift with your PLAID points! See you there!
- PLAID week is on a roll! Come out to lunch on Tuesday for games where you have to demonstrate your leadership skills! Wednesday come out for Club Rush Day and get a PLAID passport to take around to the different clubs and turn in for a prize! Thursday we will have sticky notes where you can show your positive attitude and write positive notes for the campus.
- Staff - Please be sure to share the Climate Survey with your students this week! We need to get input from at least 80% of our student population! Thank you for your help!
- Auditions for Highland winter play, CLUE, are happening next week on Wednesday, October 21st, after school in the WAH! If singing and dancing aren't your thing, then come out and try your acting skills at one of the funniest plays ever written! Based on the 1980s board game and movie, this production of CLUE is sure to be a hit! For more information, see Mr. Thompson in room 8C for an audition information sheet.
- Do you love reading and love competing but just can't find the right place to do both? Look no further than Battle of the Books! We're looking for some well-read competitors to form a team. Teams will read pre-selected books and compete in trivia-style tournaments to test their knowledge of plots, characters, and authors. If you'd love to learn more, join Ms. Nelson and Mrs. Montanio in the library at lunch on Thursday, October 22. All readers are welcome!
