• Scots! Just a reminder, there are no backpacks allowed into the games.

• September is Attendance Awareness Month! Being at school and being on time matters. Every day is another opportunity to learn, connect, and be part of our Highland community.

• If you are part of Poder or interested in being part of Poder we will be meeting in Silva's room 12C during lunch."

• Gooooooood morning chess players. The chess club will be having its first meeting this Thursday during lunch, in classroom 5C, to elect officers for the school year. Don't know how to play? No worries. There is always someone willing to teach you. Come see Mr. Gonzalez in room 5C for any questions

• Vice President is headed to a runoff! There will be a runoff election between Joslynn Navarrette and Aaron Castro today! Freshmen, please look out for the voting link on ParentSquare and the QR code in your freshman English classes. Make sure you use your voice and vote!

• Scots, if you signed up for the Career Launch Program with the Boys and Girls Club, Orientation will be held this week on Thursday September 3rd at 8:15am. If you are still interested in participating, please show up to orientation.

• Interested in science, engineering, experiments, or just figuring out how things work? Join us for a STEM Club meeting in room 12B at lunch on Wednesday and after school Thursday to participate in hands-on activities like STEM challenges, and the opportunity to design your own science fair experiment. No experience is necessary, just bring your curiosity!
